Equipment

  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Strainer (optional)
  • Pitcher
  • Spoon for stirring

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice about 4-5 limes
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or sugar optional, adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Lime slices or mint leaves for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

Juice the Limes:

  • Roll the limes on the countertop to loosen the juices. Cut them in half and use a citrus juicer or reamer to extract the juice. Strain the lime juice if you prefer to remove any pulp.
  • Sweeten the Juice (Optional):
  • If using honey or sugar, add it to the lime juice and stir until fully dissolved.

Mix the Juice:

  • In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lime juice with 3 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.

Serve:

  • Pour the lime juice over ice cubes in individual glasses. Garnish with lime slices or fresh mint leaves for an extra touch.

You can adjust the sweetness and tartness by adding more honey or sugar to suit your taste.
For a refreshing twist, you can add a splash of soda water to make a sparkling lime juice.
