Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Non-stick skillet or griddle
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
  • 1 cup water or milk for extra protein, use milk
  • 1 egg optional, for added protein and fluffiness
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional, for extra flavor
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the skillet

Instructions

  • Preheat the Skillet:
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
  • Mix the Batter:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Kodiak Cakes mix, water or milk, egg, honey, and vanilla extract (if using). Whisk until smooth. Let the batter rest for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
  • Cook the Pancakes:
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the preheated skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve:
  • Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as fresh berries, sliced bananas, nuts, or a drizzle of maple syrup.

Notes

You can customize these pancakes by adding mix-ins like blueberries, chocolate chips, or nuts for extra texture and flavor.
For a thicker pancake, reduce the amount of liquid slightly.
