Ingredients
  

For the Hamburger Patties:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Green Beans:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Soup (Creamy Sauce):

  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream optional
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Mashed Potatoes:

  • 4 large potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Hamburger Patties:

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Form into 4 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Green Beans:

  • In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the green beans and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper.

Make the Soup (Creamy Sauce):

  • In a saucepan, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and sour cream over medium heat. Cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. Stir in black pepper.

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

  • Place the chopped potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Drain and return the potatoes to the pot. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Dish:

  • Serve the hamburger patties topped with the creamy soup sauce, alongside green beans and mashed potatoes.

Notes

For added flavor, try adding grated cheese to the mashed potatoes.
You can substitute the cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken or celery for a different twist.
