Ingredients
  

  • 4 lbs bone-in skin-on chicken pieces (legs, thighs, breasts)
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic until well combined.

Marinate the Chicken:

  • Place the chicken pieces in a large resealable bag or container. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the Grill:

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grates to prevent sticking.

Grill the Chicken:

  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Grill the chicken skin-side down first, basting occasionally with the remaining marinade, for about 6-8 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serve:

  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy hot with your favorite sides like coleslaw or cornbread.

Notes

Adjust the red pepper flakes based on your desired heat level.
Marinating overnight will give the best flavor results.
