Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of salt optional
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional, for extra richness

Instructions
 

Melt the Butter:

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.

Add the Cream:

  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring occasionally. Bring the cream to a gentle simmer, but do not let it boil.

Add Gorgonzola and Parmesan:

  • Add the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese to the saucepan. Stir gently until the cheese melts and incorporates into the cream.
  • If using, add the grated Parmesan for extra depth of flavor and richness.

Season the Sauce:

  • Stir in the black pepper and adjust seasoning with salt if necessary. Continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serve Immediately:

  • Remove from heat and serve the Gorgonzola cream sauce over pasta, steak, or vegetables. Enjoy!

Notes

For a smoother sauce, you can strain the sauce after melting the cheese to remove any cheese bits.
Feel free to add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick of spice.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop, adding a splash of cream if necessary.
